Portraits of a New Yemen

María Primo has been capable of catching the spirit that animates all of them and has composed a true «tableau vivant» of a very precise historical moment of Yemen.

The technical treatment and the presentation of the photos are also very interesting, as María has chosen a black and white classical format so as to compose an  historical frescoe and has recorded in each photograph a motto of the participants, thus giving a stronger spirit to the portraits and creating an exhibition that is at the same time powerful and a time portrait of an era.
